About the City of Tempe Surveys
Community Survey
The ETC Institute annually administers a community survey to residents of the City of Tempe. The survey provides residents with an opportunity to rate the quality of life in Tempe and City services, provide feedback about what is working well and what needs improvement, as well as communicate service priorities to city leadership and staff. Data from the survey is utilized by the Mayor and City Council to inform funding and decision-making.
Business Survey
The ETC Institute conducts a business survey to Tempe businesses every other year. The survey is part of a City of Tempe effort to measure and improve its performance in working with the business community. Through feedback from businesses in the city, the data will allow Tempe leadership and staff to make crucial decisions about projects, programs and services provided by the City of Tempe that might impact these critically important community members. Data from the survey is utilized by the Mayor and City Council to inform funding and decision-making.
Employee Survey
The ETC Institute conducts an employee survey to City of Tempe employees every other year. The survey is conducted to seek employee feedback on their experience working for Tempe and to solicit comments and suggestions on ways to make the city a better place to work for all its employees. Data from the survey is utilized by the Mayor and City Council to inform the funding and decision-making.
